Laurence Singer, has counseled and advised clients in legal matters, business operations and strategic planning. Mr. Singer specializes in entertainment, media, intellectual property, non-profit, and corporate law, and international business development. He also serves as a business consultant advising companies on business development and operational strategies, has represented American companies seeking joint ventures and strategic alliances around the world, and has founded and operated private media companies. 

Mr. Singer has drafted a wide range of corporate documents, and has drafted and negotiated commercial agreements in the fields of entertainment, media, Internet, telecommunications, and information technology. He also has prepared private placement memorandums and has consulted with clients on other SEC filings.
Mr. Singer has represented clients in United States District Court, before the United States Court of Appeals, and in petitioning the United States Congress for special legislation. Among other cases, Mr. Singer served as co-counsel in a copyright infringement lawsuit against DreamWorks and Warner Entertainment, and recently served as lead counsel in litigation against Oracle Corporation involving claims for misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of contract.

As a telecommunications attorney Mr. Singer was involved in the initial stages of the restructuring of the United States telecommunications sector, participating in year-long negotiations at the Federal Communications Commission at the beginning stages of deregulation of the United States’ telecommunication industry. He has represented the Public Interest Satellite Network, Consumer Federation of America, and Consumer’s Union, and has served as a consultant for the Department of State and the Department of Commerce, advising foreign governments on privatization and the establishment of regulatory structures for their telecommunications sectors.

Mr. Singer’s experience in the entertainment industry extends from entertainment law, to the packaging of entertainment projects, to organizing and managing productions, and to producing concerts with internationally known artists, including two concerts at the United Nations.

In 1973 Mr. Singer founded Lawyers Committee for the Arts in Washington, D.C., and since then has worked with many artistic, humanitarian, educational and cultural organizations, obtaining tax-exempt status and advising these organizations on the implementation of their operating strategies. Mr. Singer has served on the Board of Directors of District Curators, the Alvin Ailey School, and Jennifer Muller Dance Theater, and presently is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, the Indigenous Culture and Education Center, and The Immediate Life. Mr. Singer has represented NGOs at the United Nations for the past 12 years.

Attorney Tatyana Agarunov concentrates her practice on a wide range of real estate matters, business and corporate transactions, and family law.  She helps clients acquire, sell, and lease all types of property; prepares and counsels health care providers and businesses on management agreements, partnerships, joint ventures and all other forms of contracts. 

Mrs. Agarunov represents individual and corporate clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions.  Her focus is primarily on negotiating and drafting leases, sale and purchase agreements for cooperatives, condominiums, townhomes, single-family and multi-family properties, and representation at closings.  She also advises a diverse set of clientele and litigates in real estate related disputes such as breach of contract, construction disputes, real estate contract enforcement and down payment disputes.

Tatyana counsels and represents businesses, corporations and health care providers on a variety of transactions including business and joint venture formations, employment agreements, practice management and licensing matters. 

Mrs. Agarunov is an aggressive advocate for her clients.  Firmly committed to negotiation or mediation as the first course of action when dispute arise, however, she will not hesitate to litigate if it is in the best interest of her client.  She carefully evaluates all litigation options and helps clients select the most cost efficient and cost effective strategy.  Tatyana is an experienced civil and commercial litigation trial attorney, practicing in State and Federal courts in New York and New Jersey.  She litigates real estate, contractor & construction disputes, and contractual business disputes and breach of contract cases and business torts cases.

Steven Yuniver - Of Counsel

Steven R. Yuniver, originally from Eastern Europe, graduated from Hofstra University School of Law.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and German Language at Hunter College.  He is admitted to the New Jersey and New York Supreme Courts and to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern as well as Southern Districts of New York. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He also serves on the Selection committee for the Louis August Jonas Foundation.

He has extensive experience representing clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Courts, Board of Immigration Appeals, and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.  He has been successful in preventing the removal of many long-term residents, including domestic violence victims who fear persecution by their husbands in their native home country as well as countless other individuals wanting to immigrate to the United States.

Mr. Yuniver speaks fluent Russian and conversational German. His goal is to help people stay in the United States and navigate through the complex immigration system. He also advises and works with Employment Immigration, and has worked on many employment-based visas.
